Seating guide
- Best views
- For an unobstructed look at the whole field, try the Excelsior (300 level) behind the plate. Higher up, Promenade seats along the lines take in Flushing Bay and the Queens skyline.
- Shade & cover
- Pick the third-base side for shade. In sections 320-333 on the Excelsior level, rows 3 and higher stay covered, as do the back rows of the 100 level; sections 101-103 in right field are well shaded too.
- Cheapest seats
- The lowest prices are in the Promenade (500 level), out in the outfield and along the lines. Expect a steep, high perch, but nothing blocks the view.
- Families
- Families can find the Mets Kids Club up on the Promenade in section 431, and the Fan Fest area in center field has Kiddie Field wiffle ball along with other games.
- Standing room
- The Jackie Robinson Rotunda at the entrance is where most people meet up. Crowds also collect at right field's Coca-Cola Corner and at the drink rails and open spaces near the center-field food court.

- LimitedMost Citi Field lots permit a small personal tailgate, as long as it fits in one space and has no open flame. Alcohol isn't allowed, nor are catered or organized tailgates, and you can't tailgate at all in Lot G or Orange Reserved.
