Seating guide
- Best views
- The upper deck (300 level) looks out over the bay and downtown. In left field, seats on the roof of the Western Metal Supply Co. building offer an unusual angle on the action.
- Shade & cover
- At a day game, look for seats behind the plate or beneath an overhanging deck, which covers a good part of the infield's upper level. The sun stays strongest along the first-base line and on the right-field side.
- Cheapest seats
- The cheapest tickets are for the upper deck and for Gallagher Square ('Park at the Park'), which sells lawn and standing-room admission.
- Families
- Past center field, Gallagher Square offers a grassy hill, a Wiffle ball field and a playground. On Sundays it hosts KidsFest, and afterward kids can run the bases.
- Standing room
- A standing-room ticket gets you onto Gallagher Square's lawn as well as drink rails and areas such as Craft Pier and the Budweiser Loft, all first come, first served.
Tailgating & parking
- Tailgating
- LimitedThe only place you can tailgate is Tailgate Park, the Padres' lot, and only right behind your own vehicle. Other Padres lots and garages don't allow it.
