Seating guide
- Best views
- From the upper-level infield, behind the plate and over toward third base, you look across the field to the downtown skyline and the Gateway Arch past the outfield.
- Shade & cover
- The park is open-air. During afternoon games, the third-base side cools off first, along with the top rows on every level that sit beneath the deck overhangs. The outfield and first-base side keep their sun longer.
- Cheapest seats
- The cheapest tickets are in the upper corner sections and the upper-deck outfield. They're far from the action, but you still see the whole field and the skyline.
- Families
- Between Gates 5 and 6 on Level 1, the Hi-Chew Family Pavilion offers an arcade, VR, speed pitch and soft-play areas. A same-day ticket gets you in free, though a few activities carry an extra charge.
- Standing room
- Up in the right-field upper deck, Budweiser Terrace combines standing space with drink rails. Before the game, most people head to Ballpark Village, across Clark Street.
Tailgating & parking
- Tailgating
- Not allowedThere are no tailgating areas, and Cardinals lots aren't designed for grilling. Instead, fans tend to spend pregame at Ballpark Village or at bars downtown.
- Parking
- The team sells passes for three spots: a lot for buses and oversize vehicles, the One Cardinal Way Garage, located at Ballpark Village, and the All-Star Lot at 611 S. 8th St., opposite Gate 2. Book in advance online or by calling 314-345-9000 to save $5, and your pass will show up in the MLB Ballpark app.
